Throughout my career, I have worked with many individuals whose purpose in life (in my mind) was to make my life easier.  While most have fallen short of that task, I would like to mention who has exceeded my expectations.  Her name is Catie Phemester.

 

Twelve years ago I made a career change.  Coming from an Industrial Engineering background to managing the integrity and accuracy of an accounting department was a life altering experience.  It has been an experience I can honestly say I wouldn’t have survived had it not been for Catie.

 

From a programming standard, there is none better.  What I believe separates her from the rest is her profound knowledge of the operations and accounting side of the business.  In these areas, in addition to her programming skills, she brings with her fresh ideas and a perspective we as managers often lose sight of in the day to day.
